Reporting a data error

Every figure on this site is computed from public datasets with a formula you can check, so discrepancies are findable and fixable. The fastest fix is an email that includes:

  • The URL of the page with the suspect number.
  • The model number, if the page is about a specific model.
  • What you expected instead — ideally with a pointer to the ENERGY STAR or EIA source figure.

What we can't help with

WattCost is not affiliated with the EPA, ENERGY STAR, the EIA, any utility, or any appliance manufacturer. We can't help with warranty claims, repairs, rebates, or your electricity bill — for those, contact the manufacturer or your utility directly.
